The impact of science at Saint Vincent’s is measured by a variety of means. Children’s curiosity and pupil voice is used to ensure learning is meaningful and enjoyable. Formative assessment is utilised by teachers to monitor learning and help pupils assess their own strengths and weaknesses. At the end of each instructional unit, summative assessments are used to evaluate against national benchmarks.
