Year 3 Parent Presentation
At St Vincent’s, we provide an engaging and inspiring curriculum that prepares children to become confident, responsible and active members of society. We aim to motivate all pupils to rise to challenges, developing the skills, knowledge and personal qualities they need to embrace the future with confidence and resilience.
St Vincent’s continues to maintain high standards of achievement. This success is built upon outstanding teaching and learning, the hard work and positive attitudes of our pupils, and the strong partnership we share with parents and carers.
If you would like any additional information about your child’s learning or the Year 3 curriculum, please speak to your child’s class teacher.

Desmond Tutu is Year 3’s key figure. He was a Christian leader and Archbishop in South Africa who believed strongly in fairness, peace and justice for all people. He spoke out bravely against apartheid, a system of laws that treated people differently because of the colour of their skin. Desmond Tutu followed Jesus’ teaching to love one another and to stand up for what is right. In 1984, he was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize for his peaceful work to bring about equality and reconciliation.
