We are delighted that you are considering St Vincent’s Catholic Primary School for your child. As a Catholic school, our mission is to nurture every child’s God-given talents within a loving, inclusive, and supportive community rooted in faith.

HOW TO APPLY

Applications for Reception places should be made through the London Borough of Bromley’s online admissions system, which can be accessed via the Bromley Council website

For in-year admissions, please contact the school office directly to check for available places and to arrange a visit — we are always happy to welcome new families to our school community. Prospective parents are warmly invited to visit the school on Tuesday mornings in November and December.

Please call the school office in advance on 0208 857 5134 to book your place.

ADMISSIONS POLICY SUMMARY

As a Catholic school, St Vincent’s Catholic Primary gives priority to baptised Catholic children in accordance with our published Admissions Policy.

If there are more applications than available places, places are allocated according to our published oversubscription criteria, which are applied in the following order of priority:

  • Baptised Catholic looked-after and previously looked-after children.
  • Baptised Catholic children with a sibling already attending St Vincent’s.
  • Baptised Catholic children living in the parish of St Vincent’s.
  • Other baptised Catholic children.
  • Other looked-after and previously looked-after children.
  • Children of other Christian denominations whose parents wish them to receive a Catholic education.
  • Children of other faiths whose parents support the Catholic ethos of the school.

Any other applicants

In all cases, distance from the school may be used as a tiebreaker where places are oversubscribed within a category.

For full details, please refer to our current Admissions Policy, which can be viewed and downloaded here.

IN YEAR ADMISSIONs

If you are moving into the area or would like your child to join St Vincent’s Catholic Primary School outside the normal Reception intake, you should first contact the school directly to check whether there are any current vacancies.

If a place is available, you will then need to complete an in-year application through the London Borough of Bromley. This can be done via their In-Year Admissions Portal on the Bromley Council website.

Once your application has been submitted, Bromley will confirm the outcome and notify both you and the school.

If no places are currently available, your child’s name can be added to our waiting list, which is maintained in line with our Admissions Policy.

We understand that moving schools can be a big change, and we will do everything we can to help your child settle quickly and feel part of our welcoming school community.
