Gospel and School Values

At St Vincent’s, the Gospel underpins everything we do and learn. Our school values are based on the example and inspiration of Jesus Christ as well as learning attributes.

Love God, and love your neighbour too. That's the main thing, that's the first thing—in fact, that's the only thing.

“You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your mind, and with all your strength. The second is this: You shall love your neighbour as yourself. There is no other commandment greater than these.” Mark 12:28b-34

“Bear with each other and forgive one another if any of you has a grievance against someone. Forgive as the Lord forgave you.”

Colossians 3-13

“Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you.”

Ephesians 4:32

CURIOSITY… because I want to learn.

“An intelligent heart acquires knowledge, and the ear of the wise seeks knowledge.”

Proverbs 18:15

RESILIENCE … because I don’t give up.

“I can do all this through him who gives me strength.”

Phillipians 4:13

ASPIRATION… because I want to be the best I can be

“I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full.”

John 10:10
