PSHE aims to help our children understand how they are developing personally as well as socially and tackles many of the moral, social and cultural issues that are part of growing up. We provide our children with opportunities to learn about their rights and responsibilities and appreciate what it means to be a member of a diverse society. Our children are encouraged to develop their sense of self-worth by playing a positive role in contributing to school life and the wider community. Weaving through the heart of our PSHE teaching, is a commitment to enhancing and promoting our core Christian Values: Compassion, Forgiveness and Love. It is our duty to develop children’s voices, identity and self-esteem whilst giving them the confidence to contribute to society in order to become an active and good citizen.
