Remote education provision: Information for Parents

Google classroom

As you know, government expectation is that schools should be in a position to be able to immediately offer parents and children access to remote education, should the following scenarios happen:

- My child (and their siblings if they are also attending St Vincent's) is absent because they are awaiting test results and the household is required to self-isolate. The rest of their school bubble are attending school and being taught as normal.

- My child's whole bubble us not permitted to attend school becaue they, or another member of their bubble, have tested positive for Covid-19.

- We enter another local or national 'lockdown' with total school closure.

Following this guidance, we will be using 'google classroom' which is a remote online tool, to enable us to delivber remote learning. You will have received a letter containing your child's logi credentials, if you require a copy of this please contact the office.

**Please remember, should your child be absent from school due to any other circumstances, remote learning does not apply**

We would like to thank you for your patience and understanding at this time, 'google classroom' will be a new way of learning for both parents, children and our teaching staff.
